'ME' BAGS

To help us get to know each other we are creating 'Me' bags.  Today we decorated a bag and this weekend we are going to gather 5 special things in the bag and bring them to share on Monday.  Here is the poem that went with our bag:

In this bag you will find,
Things that show that I am one of a kind,
Five bits and pieces of things I like,
It might be family, friends, a hobby or bike
So when I share these things with you,
You’ll find out things you never knew!

Mrs McCulley shared her 'Me' bag with us.  Inside she had:

A photo of her and her husband 'Lee'
A keyring with a photo of her dog 'Poppy'
A shell from her favourite beach at the end of her street
A fridge magnet showing her two nieces 'Millie' & 'Brooke'
A smiley face teacher pen

We are looking forward to seeing everyone else's bags on Monday!

TE REO MAORI WITH MRS YEOMAN

Every Friday morning this term we are going to see Mrs Yeoman.  She is teaching us new waiata (songs), karakia (prayers), whakatauki (sayings) and vocabulary.  It is lots of fun!
